Swedish striker sorry for outburst
His English isn’t the best. But Zlatan Ibrahimovic got his message across yesterday.
The Sweden international went on a foul-mouthed rant following the final whistle after PSG’s surprising 3-2 defeat to Bordeaux.
“In 15 years I’ve never seen a [good] referee in this sh*t country … don’t even deserve PSG.”
Ibrahimovic later issued an apology, which read
“My remarks were not aimed at France or the French people. I was talking about football and not something else. I was speaking in anger. I wish to apologise if people felt offended.”
The striker scored twice on Sunday, however his push wasn’t enough to keep PSG from falling.
Lyon extended their lead at the top to two points after drawing 0-0 at Marseille.
