The Top 10 Hip Hop Singles Of The Week: Eminem, Quentin Miller & R. Kelly

Eminem drops a new freestyle and a conspicuous track from Drake’s alleged ghostwriter hits the Internet.

This week, Eminem took shots at several pop culture figures during a new freestyle on Sway In The Morning. Elsewhere, a leak of Drizzy’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller fueled Meek Mill’s allegations that Drake doesn’t write his own rhymes and lastly, R. Kelly took on the 5 Fingers Of Death challenge.

Eminem Takes Aim During New Freestyle

While promoting the recently released film Southpawof which he executively produced the soundtrack of—Eminem stopped through Sway In The Morning on Thursday (July 23) and dropped a new six-minute freestyle.

Throughout the freestyle, the Detroit rapper took aim at several pop culture including Bill Cosby, Caitlyn Jenner and Azealia Banks.

In light of Meek Mill’s accusation that Drake doesn’t write his own raps, Hot 97 radio host Funkmaster Flex released the reference track for Drizzy’s “10 Bands” offIf Youre Reading This Its Too Late. The song was originally recorded by Atlanta emcee Quentin Miller.

R. Kelly Takes On The 5 Fingers Of Death

R. Kelly stopped through Sway In The Morning earlier this week and took on the 5 Fingers Of Death challenge. During the DJ Wonder-fronted test, R. Kelly let loose some smooth vocals, of which he is renowned for.
