Bournemouth 0-0 Aston Villa

Another chance for Bournemouth! Not too much wrong with the strike this time as Marc Pugh hits a rising effort from close range but Brad Guzan quickly raises a hand to block the shot.

15:46
Everton 0-1 Watford

Still no signs of EVerton getting back into this but Watford are perhaps lucky to still have 11 men. Troy Deeney launches at Brendan Galloway with a two-footed challenge but rather than a red card he is let off with a caution.

15:44
Norwich City 0-1 Crystal Palace

Top save from John Ruddy! The Norwich keeper reacts well to deny Jordon Mutch’s half volley after the midfielder had chested the ball down well.
Wilfried Zaha (centre) celebrates with team mates after scoring the opening goal

15:43
From Sportsmail’s Martha Kelner at Carrow Road

‘Palace have been pressing and find their breakthrough in the 39th minute when a right footed ball from Jason Puncheon on the edge of the area soars over the head of a straining Glenn Murray and finds Wilfried Zaha on the right post.

‘The winger shows great athleticism to leap up and slot into the back of the net with his right foot.’

15:39
GOAL! Norwich City 0-1 CRYSTAL PALACE

Crystal Palace have come back into this game and score a superb opening goal. Jason Puncheon dives into his bags of tricks to dart past Sebastien Bassong, before crossing to the far post for Wilfried Zaha to volley home six minutes before half-time.

15:37
Bournemouth 0-0 Aston Villa

You have to take these! Bournemouth are given an excellent chance to open the scoring but as the ball rolls invitingly into the path of Dan Gosling 10 yards out, he spoons an effort over the bar.

Dick Advocaat is not happy on the Sunderland bench, not happy at all. In fact he is so unhappy with his side’s dire start he has replaced Lee Cattermole with striker Steven Fletcher. No signs of any injury there…

What a nightmare start for Sunderland. Lee Cattermole now brings down Riyad Mahrez for a penalty and the midfielder picks himself up to tuck from 12 yards for his second goal of the game. The Foxes are running riot!

Norwich 0-0 Crystal Palace

Norwich continue to tease an opening goal against Crystal palace but they are going to have to do much better than this from set-pieces as Robbie Brady crashes a free-kick straight into the Palace wall.

GOAL! LEICESTER 2-0 Sunderland

What a start from Leicester! They are all over Sunderland and they look to have found a weak spot in the Black Cats as yet another Albrighton cross is headed home, this time by Riyad Mahrez.

15:16
From Sportsmail’s Riath Al-Samarrai at the Vitality Stadium

‘Eddie Howe has been trying to wind up Bournemouth’s fans this week and it seems to have worked.

‘Tremendous atmosphere here so far, even if there have been no shots in the first quarter of an hour. Tim Sherwood, meanwhile, has tucked his shirt in after a rather scruffy start to his day.’

‘Norwich, who many have tipped to go straight back down to the Championship, have made a bright start at Carrow Road.

‘Lewis Grabban fed the ball inside the six yard box and contrives to send it wide but it didn’t matter as he was offside.

‘Minutes later Grabban is again found in six yard box by Steven Whittaker and his shot hits the post and goes wide. There’s goals in this one.’

15:13
GOAL! Everton 0-1 WATFORD

Slow starts have plagued Everton in recent years and they make another one here. Watford are in front at Goodison, against the run of play though, as Miguel Layun rifles home a half-volley. Tidy stuff.

15:11
LEICESTER CITY 1-0 Sunderland

Grabban again! This time he isn’t offside, but the striker should really be scoring after once again launching himself at a low cross which again he diverts wide. Top start from the Canaries though.

15:07
Leicester City 0-0 Sunderland

Two sides who many fear for this season are in action at the King Power Stadium, and it’s Sunderland who nearly take the lead only fro Kasper Schmeichel to deny Jermain Defoe from close range.

Leighton Baines has picked up an ankle injury in training and misses the game against Watford.

The knock is to the ankle Baines had surgery on in May, a procedure that forced him to miss the final two games of last season.

Roberto Martinez said: ‘With Leighton, it was a very, very unfortunate block in training, where the ball hit his ankle that he had a little bit of trouble with in the later stages of last season.

‘It’s really sad and disappointing because Leighton came back probably stronger than ever and this pre-season he showed fantastic signs. So, to lose him in the week that you’re preparing to start the season is very disappointing.

‘We’re just hoping we can get him back quicker than we fear because the injury looks very similar to what he had before.’

In toon for the big wedding: TV stars descend on Newcastle as beaming Declan Donnelly arrives alongside best man Ant McPartlin as he prepares to wed his agent fiancee Ali Astall at local church

They have been best friends for over three decades, so it was only natural that Declan Donnelly had Ant McPartlin by his side on his big day.

The TV duo arrived at the St. Mary’s cathedral in Newcastle on Saturday afternoon ahead of his marriage to his longtime agent Ali Astall.

The beaming groom couldn’t hide his glee as he whizzed up to St. Michael’s Church in his hometown in a supercar from his own personal fleet.

The pals instantly went into showman mode, waving and greeting locals and fans who had lined up outside the church to see him arrive.

Dec and Ant weren’t the only star attractions to descend on Newcastle for the Geordie royal wedding of course.

Just moments before the presenter’s flash arrival, the likes of Holly Willoughby, Tess Daly and husband Vernon Kay, Phillip Schofield, Paddy McGuiness and comic Leigh Francis – best known as alter-ego Keith Lemon – all turned out in their finery.
Earlier in the day, the beloved TV presenter – one half of Ant & Dec – took to the duo’s Twitter account to joke: ‘Morning! I know I’ve got somewhere to be today but I can’t for the life of me remember where…’

The 39-year-old Geordie will marry his partner and agent in a local ceremony held in his hometown of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

The couple will exchange vows at St. Michael’s Church in the centre of the city and his older brother – Father Dermott Donnelly – will oversee the proceedings and is said to have carefully selected suitable hymns and prayers.

Dec’s long-standing presenting partner Anthony McPartlin will act as his best man, returning the favour for his 2006 wedding to Lisa Armstrong, and is expected to deliver an ‘hilarious speech’.

‘The fact that he’s waited so long to marry shows how serious he is about marriage vows, but he has absolutely no doubts that Ali is The One.’

The modest ceremony will also be attended by the pair’s close friends and family and Dec is expected to dedicate a heartfelt tribute to his late father Alphonsus who died in 2011, aged, 78, after losing his battle with cancer.

He will be sorely missed from his son’s big day and Dec has previously admitted that having his father watch him tie the knot was something he’d always wished for.

‘There is always someone you are going to miss and for me it’s my dad. I always hoped he would see me marry, but these things happen, I know he’s proud of me,’ he said earlier in the year.

The big day comes nine months after Dec proposed to Ali on November 13 2014 in Australia – ahead of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! series, just a year after confirming their relationship.

At the time, he told the Mirror: ‘There was no special reason to propose in Australia. It just seemed the right time. So yeah, I just did it. It’s so nice. I’ve had an amazing year.’

‘She is the one I’m going to marry’: Dec is said to have told friends he wanted to make his long-standing manager Ali his wife shortly after confirming their relationship in 2013

Ali has worked as Ant and Dec’s manager for over ten years but it wasn’t until 2013 that they confirmed their romantic involvement with one another.

‘She’s the one I’m going to marry,’ the former Byker Grove child star is said to have told friends at the time.

They first enjoyed a short-lived romance in 2006 and they maintained a close friendship throughout Dec’s two-year relationship with Sky Sports presenter Georgie Thompson which ended in 2011.

Prior to that, Dec was with actress Claire Buckland for 11 years and the couple split in 2003.
