Uber has officially launched in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania!

Uber has officially launched its services in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This is the 9th African country and 475th city on Uber’s global network.

As usual, users in Dar es Salaam will enjoy six free rides for three days. The code is “MoveTanzania”.

Uber has been spreading across Africa this year so far. They launched in Ghana last week, and Uganda two weeks ago. Again, I’m wishing Uber the best in this new African country.

Uber Technologies Inc. is an American multinational online transportation network company headquartered in San Francisco, California. It develops, markets and operates the Uber mobile app, which allows consumers with smartphones to submit a trip request which is then routed to Uber drivers who use their own cars.
